Porsche unveils the new 911 Cabriolet at the Detroit Auto Show.
Porsche has unveiled it latest iteration of the new ‘991’ generation 911 family with the 911 Cabriolet. Porsche has enhanced the efficiency of the new model with a combination of lightweight materials and energy savings components like an electrically assisted power steering rack.
The 3.8 liter boxer six cylinder is good for 400 horsepower. The styling is an evolution of the classic 911 shape. Where some might favor the coupe over the cabriolet from a styling perspective, Porsche finds that having a convertible helps sales.
