Last month, BMWBLOG received the unique and exclusive invitation to attend the 2012 BMW M Sales Awards. The annual event took place in Miami, Florida and gathered a record number of participants: nearly 100 people from 23 countries. The ultra-exclusive event was created to recognize the top M sales people from around the world.
We covered the event here and here, and today we return with the ultimate photo gallery that gives us a deeper look at the exclusive event.
Most of the photos are from the track days when the group spend an entire afternoon behind the wheel of BMW 1M and M3s at the Homestead Raceway.
Aided by the professional driving instructors from BMW M Performance School, the guests went through various driving exercises varied from drifting on a wet skidpad to power laps around the fast Homestead track where speeds reached 140mph and onto the timed autocross where bragging rights were earned by the fastest drivers.
The icing on the cake? A few hot laps aboard the new F10 M5 driven by Matt Mullins, former Nascar driver and the head instructor at the M School in Spartanburg.
